Today..............



So much more to put into the blog this morning but it will have to wait!  A bit of health history for me.......... I have always eaten healthily, cooked and baked and was aware at a very young age about what foods were good for my body, partly from my Mum and partly from what I was reading at the time.  Another big part, I guess, was that I never wanted to have a weight issue!

So, having said all of that, I have also exercised!  When very young, I loved running etc. In my 20's I practised yoga and did this for one hour a day for a long time.  Once I started having my children, my time demands were so much more and I therefore practised yoga less but walked more.  Never having been a 'jogger' but more of a 'sprinter' when I was young, running or jogging never appealed to me.  As I walked a lot, this also included hills, the walking kept me pretty fit.  When I was away from home, the walking and the yoga were both easy to transport and do anywhere.

My health is good, I have had no serious issues with my back or neck, no injuries other than some sprained ankles at different times.  Therefore, I come to weightlifting with a good body history.


I have had the most terrible cold, so all weightlifting and exercise has been on hold all week.  Had two days off work where I laid flat on my back and then back at work and YAY!!! tonight I got home from work and went for a 45 min. brisk walk, full moon, waves crashing, cool and crisp, PERFECT!!!


Tomorrow, back into the gym.................... I'll tell you what my goal is over the weekend :)
