Some Good Feedback.............

Monday morning I awoke without the alarm and I was laying there willing myself to go back to sleep, when the alarm went off, so it was 5.06am.  I had slept through the night without waking and whats more important, NO coughing!!! YAY!!!!  So that was a good thing.  I turned the alarm off and lay there for awhile acclimatising myself to the day, it was cold but not as cold as what it has been.  I had packed my food and my bags the night before, so all I needed was to get up, get dressed and head out the door.

I guess, I haven't shared with you the strict diet that I am on.  This, so far, has not changed by much.  My PT gave this to me, approximately 4 weeks ago now and basically I am eating egg whites, chicken, fish, broccoli, asparagus and a big bowl of salad each day.  Oh, and also some oats.  So each night I am in preparation mode with organising my food for the next day into containers and then into the fridge so that all I need to do is grab the containers out of the fridge and into my carry bag in the mornings that I am @ gym by 6am.  I eat protein as soon as I can after my weights workout, then it is small meals throughout the day.

.............. off to gym.  I have to say, I don't know where my mojo was but it wasn't with me this morning, in fact, I felt quite sluggish, not that energetic to be honest.  When I arrived at the gym, I head to the ladies and get myself organised, which includes clipping my ipod to my pants and having my earbuds travelling up my back under my singlet so that they don't get in the way whilst working out.  I always have music on and have developed a playlist for running/walking and one for lifting weights.  I warmed up on the walker this morning for 5 mins and did not move that hard.  Then proceeded to the weights floor and did a bench press set.  I start with a big weight set first before my muscles become too fatigued.  I benched 30 k's this morning, which was ok, but it was hard.  I proceeded throughout the rest of my set which took about 45 mins to complete.  I then always stretch for approx. 10 mins afterwards, off for shower, change and blowdry.

I have shared my blog with my sister and some friends who have given me some valuable feedback as to including some more photos in my blog.  So I have found one of me last September at my sons 21st birthday, this being almost a year ago now.  It will give you some idea of what shape I was in.  Then there is a photo of me in May after I had been lifting weights for about 3 1/2 months.   I will post another photo shortly of me now, hopefully showing some of the muscles that I have been working on. :)
